The web interface developed for the NKFI Office is used to evaluate the innovation content of projects/project ideas, with the KFIVélemény expert system supporting the work of applicants, Office staff and a significant number of external experts.
Challenge
The biggest challenge of the project was to develop a framework in which the Office’s staff could compile and coordinate significantly different application structures and related evaluation processes without the involvement of developers.
Solution
Within the framework of the project, the Java-based KFIVélemény web-based system allows NKFI Office staff to:
- create application structures, setting up data sheets and application phase parameters (submission interval, budget management, alerts, template letters)
- monitor the submission of applications
- handle formal evaluation and missing information
- They compile a content evaluation process specific to each tender structure, which may even be completely unique for each tender, and manage its implementation.
- document generation (decision notifications, requests for additional information, etc.) takes place at specific stages of the process,
- they administer the remuneration of external experts.
Quantified results
- 10,000+ users
- 3000+ experts
