Government Information Technology Development Agency – TÉBA testing (modernisation of family support benefit payments)

Challenge

During the development of the TÉBA system, it was particularly important that the software versions delivered by the implementing contractor met the functional and non-functional requirements. The client needed a reliable partner to ensure the acceptance of the software, provide professional support for the testing processes, and handle and retest any errors that arose during the trial operation.

Solution

During the project, we performed the following activities:

  • Checking the delivered software versions (physical and logical availability, testing of accessories).
  • Performing basic functional and extreme tests.
  • Establishing testing conditions on the customer’s side: work schedule, areas of responsibility, processes.
  • Organising training for testers, supporting the provision of installation and authorisation conditions.
  • Performing functional, integration and migration tests based on test scenarios provided by the main contractor.
  • Classifying errors by severity and category, performing regression testing.
  • Documenting, recording and managing test results in a dedicated environment.

Result

  • Prior to the introduction of the TÉBA system, we ensured that software versions were delivered in a controlled and documented manner.
  • Through functional, integration and migration tests, any errors were detected and corrected in a timely manner.
  • During the trial operation, we guaranteed the stable operation of the system by retesting the errors.
  • The testing process became transparent and error handling was controlled, allowing the system to be launched safely and with minimal risk.
