One of the main tasks of the Hungarian National Asset Management Company (MNV) is to manage state assets and control the asset management process. To perform its control tasks, MNV uses data obtained from asset managers through various data reporting mechanisms.
Asset managers are required by law to provide data, the two most important types of which are asset management and asset utilisation data, as well as data for monitoring/controlling purposes.
As part of the “Further Development of the Data Collection Portal” project, 4Sales actively participated in the development of the Controlling Data Collection Portal (KAPOR) for the management of monitoring/controlling purposes, as well as the development of the Central Asset Management application (KVK) for the management of asset management and asset utilisation data reporting.
Both Java-based systems, developed using open source technologies and accessible via a web interface, have begun live operation, continuously managing the reports of hundreds of asset managers with ever-expanding functionality.
The data collected from both systems is sent to the MNV data warehouse for further processing.
