The entire control and data flow of the system is handled by our proprietary SmartFactory platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The role of SmartFactory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three modules of SmartFactory ensured the intelligent operation of the system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Field communication (PLC integration):<\/strong> real-time control and data collection for roller and belt conveyors, scales, opening sections, and robot cells.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Server-side communication (ERP connection):<\/strong> based on instructions from the enterprise resource planning system, we controlled which box went to which operator and then automatically reported the status of the finished boxes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User interface:<\/strong> visualizations, alarms, parameterization, and operation logs ensured transparent operation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main functions of the system<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Moving boxes across the entire track system via Interroll roller and belt modules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic weighing of empty and filled crates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Redirection for inspection in case of defective or incomplete boxes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sealing boxes in UR20 robot cell (lid + side panel)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic strapping and sorting by destination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Result<\/strong> SmartFactory integration has created a <strong>real-time monitored, reliable, and error-free<\/strong> logistics process that controls the movement of medicine boxes in a fully data-driven manner and ensures that units are ready for delivery and have been checked.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For AtlasPharma, we implemented a complex, multi-station box transport and picking system that automates the assembly and preparation of medicines for delivery.
